My email-id.
Hi, I'm a scientist at the CSIR Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation (C-MMACS) in Bangalore, the nicest city in India.
I work on Large Scale Modelling and Simulation of the Oceans. The tool I use is GFDL's Modular Ocean Model. I have been looking at some features of Indian Ocean circulation such as Indonesian throughflow, comparison with satellite altimetry etc. Along with my colleagues Sharada and Yajnik I have also been looking at biological productivity in the Indian Ocean. I use NetCDF for all my MOM I/O and analysis and PMEL's ferret software for graphics and visualisation. The user guides for MEXCDF, a fine matlab-netcdf inteface by Chuck Denham and Ferret are available locally. The first part of the netCDF tutorial for C-MMACS users is here. Balaji's mpp tutorial is here.
