Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates with hexagonal shaped nano-pores with high aspect ratio were fabricated with following specifications:

• Pore diameter: 50 to 130 nm 

• Membrane thickness: 300 nm - 10 µm

• Ordered domain size: 1-2 µm 

• Template area:  5x2 cm2
