Dr. Imtiyaz Ahmed Parvez has been conferred the "Young Muslim Scientist Award" for the year 2001 by the Muslim Association for the Advancement of Science (MASS), for his outstanding contribution in the field of Physical Sciences. The award carries a citation and a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-.
